Job Description A Bank in Downtown Toronto (WFH) is seeking Developer - Specialty / Niche - 4 for a contract of 1 Year. Story Behind the Need: The incumbent is a tagging, data analytics and insight specialist supporting digital marketing initiatives across multiple channels and platforms to help drive engagement, leads, sales and loyalty. The incumbent collaborates with internal stakeholders as well as IT to help optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and tagging strategy. Key Accountabilities: • Determine the design and implementation of digital analytics tracking, tagging, and targeting and provide teams with code for implementation for web and native app • Manage a variety of analytical ( Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) and tag management (Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager) accounts across multiple geographies • Collaborate with frontend developers, backend developers, and analytic teams to build solutions for measurement of client platforms • Support campaign requirements for pixel and conversion tracking and maintain any link tracking documents • Create dashboards using Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics • Assist in the development and documentation of best practices for improving operational efficiencies within the digital analytics team • Proactively initiate, research, and perform data analysis and provide ad hoc reports to internal stakeholders on web usage, user engagement, and behavioral analytics on websites and email campaigns • Identify patterns and trends in marketing results and online activity and report on findings • Analyze digital marketing data and user behavior patterns to provide valuable insight and to optimize user engagement and improve the effectiveness of marketing campaigns • Monitor site and campaign traffic and determine cross-promotion, cross-sell and lead-gen opportunities • Familiarity with tag audit tools like ObservePoint and Tag Inspector • Identify bugs and erroneous analytics tags and provide solutions to development team • Work with Digital Channels to advise on our continually evolving digital strategy • Ability to provide clear and concise technical direction, expertise, advice and tracking solutions to frontend developers, backend developers, and analytic teams to build tools for measurement of client platforms The incumbent will frequently interact with management, others within Marketing and IT and project managers. They will be required to make important decisions impacting how visitor engagement is captured, reported, analyzed and acted upon. They are also required to write and keep documentation for work processes performed as well as to provide others within Digital Channels training on processes to support the maintenance and evolution of our analytics initiatives. The incumbent is responsible for working in a constantly changing service and sales driven environment with priorities dictated by customer/staff and management communication needs. The incumbent must be able to work within a fast-paced and changing environment and be comfortable multi-tasking. Non-standard working hours are occasionally required. The incumbent must remain responsive in a work environment that has frequently changing priorities with concurrent and multiple projects.
Job Requirements Must have: 1) Expertise in Adobe Analytics implementation using Adobe Launch tag manager and Adobe Mobile SDK (Primary - Must have) 2) 2 + years in configuring web and mobile/native app analytics for multiple clients 3) Expertise in creating dashboards in Adobe & Google Analytics and transforming data from multiple sources 4) Good understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript 5) Experience in Microsoft Excel 6) Experience integrating web analytics platforms with CRM systems an asset 7) Experience presenting reports and strategic recommendations to clients Nice to have: • Expertise in Google Analytics implementation using Google Tag Manager (nice to have) • Experience in the Financial Services industry an asset • Experience working with digital advertising platforms (Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads, DoubleClick Manager, AppNexus) and search engine optimization is an asset (nice to have) • Working knowledge of Power BI and Google Data Studio (nice to have) • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (Nice to have) • Experience with visualization techniques for data analysis and presentation Soft skill: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously • Proven ability to work independently and with other groups in a professional and productive manner • Demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines • Excellent analytical, logical, and organizational skills Interview: 2 step interview • 1 interview with, video conference HM (Technical questions and behavior questions) 1 hour • 2 interview video conference with HM & Team members.
