A Bank in Downtown Toronto (WFH) is seeking QA / QC Test Lead - 3 for a contract of Until January 31st.
• Business group: The Global Wealth Management Service (GWMS), Quality Assurance department looks after all QA testing for the banks multiple applications.
• Project: The group is searching for a strong QA Lead to manage and test an MPower application migration project.
• Reason for request: Workload

- The successful candidate will have exposure to test an MPower Migration project for one of the Big Five banks in Canada.
Summary:
The main function of a QA Test Lead is to develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, including follow-up and issue resolution for the MPower migration project.
Typical Day in Role:
• Developing E2E testing strategies and coordinate test execution (with both upstream and downstream systems)
• Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
• Perform test execution and present roadmap as needed.
• Test system modifications for areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
• Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
• Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen and database validations
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
• Develop, maintain and communicate (stakeholder presentation) delivery status, KPI and metric scorecards, quality checks and knowledge management solutions.
• Ability to produce dashboards and reports
