Job Description	A bank in Downtown Toronto is seeking 3 Senor QA test analysts for 1 month (will be renewed for another 3). The GWMS - Quality Assurance is looking for a Senior QA Test Analyst (ETL testing) to work on a new Salesforce Commercial project where they will be adding Salesforce to the commercial line in For this bank. Project just started at the beginning of January. The successful candidate will get the opportunity for growth as there are many upcoming labs and projects to come. They will also get the chance to start on a new project and build with a new team that is being put together. Typical Day in Role • Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures • Test system modifications to prepare for implementation • Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability • Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers • Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes • Create or maintain databases of known test defects • Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
Job Requirements	Must Have Skills: 1) QA Test analyst - 7+ years of experience 2) ETL testing experience – 5+ years of hands on experience 3) Database/Backend testing experience (writing and verifying results of medium to high complexity SQL queries) & creation of functions and stored procedures – 5+ years of hands of experience 4) 2 + years’ working in an ETL Cloud team 5) 3 + years’ experience writing Unix commands through shell scripting 6) 3 + years’ experience with Oracle Sybase 7) 3+ years’ experience working with projects throughout the Agile methodology Soft- Skills: 1) Experience writing test documentation such as Test Plans, scripts and test results reports 2) Ability to analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing 3) Strong communication skills – explain things clearly to members of the lab and conduct stand ups 4) Strong communication skills, able to clearly communicate with multiple lines of business autonomously. Nice to Have - FI/Banking experience - Development experience in PL/SQL - Manual Testing experience - Experience with Salesforce application - White Box testing following QA principles, practices and methodologies Additional Notes: - Canadian experience is preferred - Required experience must be hands on and recent - ETL testing & SQL writing queries is most important - Must be able to hit the ground running with ETL testing Degrees or certifications: - Associate's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
