A bank in Downtown Toronto is looking for a Senior Angular Developer for a 6 month contract (Renewable). An Angular Developer is needed for the Risk Models and Analytics Solutions team to develop an existing application called Model Rating Platform (MRP) on MS Azure. MRP is a model engine that will be used by different sources for model calculations. MRP has a strategic roadmap for 2020 to service a higher volume of Risk Models to business clients. The Senior Angular Developer will be responsible for core front end development and required to communicate with the teams.

Typical Day in Role-
- Planning & coordinating cloud development activity (MS Azure Cloud)
- Work with Java Developers & Scotia PLATO team in an Agile environment
- Designing and supporting solution
- Bring existing application in to Microsoft Cloud Development platform
- Primarily front-end development for MRP application

Must Have Skills:
1) Angular 2,4,6 with Typescript – 5+ years of hands on experience
2) Core web fundamentals: HTML, JavaScript, and CSS – 3+ years of hands on experience
3) CSS precompilers like Sass and LESS– 3+ years of hands on experience
4) Skills in one or more chosen frameworks/libraries like jQuery or Bootstrap – 3+ years of hands on experience
5) AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) – 3+ years of hands on experience
6) npm, Angular CLI – 3+ years of hands on experience
7) RxJS – 3+ years of hands on experience
- Contractor will be working (95% front-end and 5% back-end)
- Experience must be hands on and recent
Soft- Skills:
- Strong communication skills (will be performing demos)
- Strong team player
Nice to Have:
- Test automation suites
- Cloud infrastructure
- SQL server
- Azure SQL
- RESTful or back end experience ****
- Single sign-on integration through OAuth2
Degrees or certifications:
