Job Description A Bank in Downtown Toronto is looking for an Administrative Assistant for a 6 month contract (then go full-Time). The GWRT Vendor Manage team ensures the contingent workforce is managed, engaged and funded efficiently for the Capital Markets group on an ongoing basis. • The successful candidate will join an intricate team that has an opportunity to convert full time after the initial contract duration. Typical Day in Role • Ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work • Managing physical card access for the contract workforce • Supporting onboarding activities • Managing general inbox inquiries and updating distribution lists • Other Ad-hoc duties as required
Job Requirements Must Have Skills: 1) 2 + years’ Corporate Office experience 2) 1 + years’ experience working with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Powerpoint (basic level is fine) 3) High school education required 4) Strong communication skills to help administer and help contractors throughout the onboarding process as needed The successful candidate has good understanding of office culture and procedures and is eager to join an corporate banking environment Nice-To-Have Skills: - Previous FI experience is fine Degrees or certifications: • High School education or GED required
