A Bank in Downtown Toronto is seeking 2 Security Analysts for 5 month contracts (Renewable). The security Operations is seeking 2 Senior IT Security Advisors to provide ongoing support – advising and conducting threat risk assessments for cloud security projects.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies such as Azure and GCP, while having the potential to extend their contract for a longer term.
Typical Day in Role
• Identify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans
• Architect, design, implement, support, and evaluate security-focused tools and services including project leadership roles
• Develop and interpret security policies and procedures
• Participate in security compliance efforts
• Develop and deliver training materials and perform general security awareness and specific security technology training
• Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and technologies

- If the most recent job is about security operations – then they’re out - Not looking for – someone who is operational (vulnerability or identity and access management, server patching)
- Need risk assessment experience
- Looking for someone who has worked in past roles for some time – no very short contracts
