A bank in Downtown Toronto is looking for a Senior QA Test Analyst for a contract until October 31st, (Good chances of extension). Downtown Most of the time, however maybe out to Scarborough to visit Labs. (1 day a week at home after Training). The Global Wealth Management Systems - Run The Bank is seeking a Senior QA Automation Tester to assist with implementing the Stability Project for Global Wealth Management Systems applications and systems.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and diverse team, while gaining experience with new technologies and exposure to other departments within the Bank.
Typical Day in Role
• Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
• Test system modifications to prepare for implementation
• Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
• Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
• Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
• Create or maintain databases of known test defects
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates

| Job Requirements |
Must Have Skills:
1) Selenium – 5+ years of hands on experience
2) Cucumber, JUnit, Maven, SOAPUI, LOADUI (the more of these they have experience with, the better)– 4+ years of hands on experience
3) Create testing frameworks – 5+ years of hands on experience
4) Write test scripts, test strategy, test scenarios, test execution matrix – 5+ years of hands on experience
5) Automated test scripting – 5+ years of hands on experience
6) Jira, BitBucket, Jenkins, GitHub, SVN, WSDL (the more of these they have experience with, the better)– 4+ years of hands on experience
7) XPath, Java, Eclipse (the more of these they have experience with, the better)– 4+ years of hands on experience
8) SQL – 5+ years of hands on experience
9) Deep understanding of testing Browsers: IE, Chrome, Firefox – testing on these platforms – 4+ years
10) Regression, functional, performance testing – 4+ years of experience
11) Working with large data methodologies and processes – 4+ years of experience
12) Strong communication skills (will be working closely with different teams)
- Hands on experience is most important
- Looking for someone who is passionate about this type of work
- Wants to see candidates who have worked both contract and as FTE (shows flexibility)
- Prefer candidates have at least some Canadian experience

Degrees or certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field or equivalent
