Job Description A bank in Downtown Toronto is seeking an Analyst/Developer for a contract until October 31st, 2019. The Global Wealth Management Systems (GWMS), Digital Client Services supports back end databases globally and ensures Wealth Management Applications continuously run. • Project: The successful candidate will be focusing on data management, staging and consolidation for a larger AML support project with Oracle Databases. • The successful candidate will be joining a flexible, dynamic agile environment that will transform the way applications in the bank are supported. Typical Day in Role • Analyze, design, develop, test and document ETL programs from detailed and high-level specifications, and assist in troubleshooting • Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications • Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts • Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution • Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area • Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment • Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
Job Requirements Must Have Skills: 1) 8 + years database development with PL/SQL 2) Familiarity with Master Data Management design patterns 3) 5 + years database development with Oracle 12c 4) 5 + years’ experience with ETL development product sites 5) Experience with Automation job scheduler 6) Good communication skills to articulate data feeds to Business Analysts 7) Experience working in Agile projects • The hiring manager is really looking for a strong ETL developer who has experience with data manipulation using Oracle 12c and PL/SQL • This project is following a true Agile methodology, the workspace is in an open Lab Nice-To-Have Skills: - FI experience is a plus, but not mandatory - Oracle certifications are a plus, but not mandatory Degrees or certifications: • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
