A bank in Downtown Toronto is looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a 6 month Contract (Renewable) IT Service Automation is seeking a Senior Business Analyst/Quality Assurance Tester to work on a project that involves automating manual services using tools such as ServiceNow. The BA/QA will be working closely with Clients, Stakeholders and Developers to help implement Service Now.

Typical Day in Role
• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
• Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
• Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
• Test system modifications to prepare for implementation
• Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
• Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
• Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
• Create or maintain databases of known test defects
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
