A bank in Scarborough is looking for a Program Manager for a 6 month contract (Renewable). The Canadian Banking Technology's Strategic Portfolio Office is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to support a high-profile program with multiple work streams, touching 40 applications within the bank including Canadian Banking Technology, Enterprise Technology, Fraud, and International Banking. The goal is to sunset an old commercial banking application to implement a new application and this Program Manager will be involved with the supporting the business case. They will be leading Business Analysts with business process flows. This Program Manager should have extensive experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.
Typical Day in Role
• Develop, track and manage project budget, project plans, timelines and scope
• Manage project resources including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching and advising
• Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements
• Lead teams of developers in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs
• Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing
• Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing roll out plans and procedures
• Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses
• Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized
• Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors
