A bank in Scarborough is looking for an IT Project Manager (for a 1.5 year project), The International Technology Services' International Business Solutions & Services group is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to manage the integration of the new acquired Bank in the Dominican Republic into their operations. They will be responsible for the delivery of the technology components. This Project Manager will manage and oversee the entire project with focus on the integrations with the multiples parties, cross dependencies, risk management, project progress status and reporting and financial management. Must be open to traveling to the Dominican Republic -1 week trips - possibility for longer during implementation
Typical Day in the Role
• Develop, track and manage project budget, project plans, timelines and scope
• Manage project resources including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching and advising
• Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements
• Lead teams of developers in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs
• Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing
• Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures
• Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses
• Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized
• Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors
• Assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions
• Deliver technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment

| Job Requirements |
Nust Have Skills:
1) IT & Business Project Management (8+ years experience with $20+MM budget, preparing project status reports, driving meetings with combined audiences from technology and business as well as various levels from team to VP, building relationships with key stakeholders, and writing documents)
2) Bilingual Spanish (Must be fluent in both English & Spanish - written and verbal)
3) Agile (5+ years delivery projects in Agile methodology)
4) FI/Banking industry (5+ years experience in a Project Manager capacity for FI/Bank - preferably credit card projects)
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Migration or Acquisition project experience
- PMP or PMI certification
Degrees or certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
• 8-10 years experience as a Project Manager
