Job Description A bank in Downtown Toronto is seeking an SAP Payroll QA Tester. the main function of a QA Test Analyst is to develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, including follow-up and issue resolution. Job Responsibilities: • Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates • Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability • Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures • Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers • Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes • Create or maintain databases of known test defects (KEY: SAP Payroll is the module). The candidate will be dealing with back end hosted SAP payroll solution (development done by vendor). They need to have an understanding of Infotype, wage type, the manager will ask about the change request the candidate worked on recently during the interview (won’t be able to google), hooking in GL, the candidate should be able to talk about the testing they did.
Job Requirements Qualifications: • Minimum 5+ years of hands on experience with SAP HR/HCM are required • Payroll knowledge of wage and hour payroll practices is a must • Experience in various Infotypes in PA30, personnel actions using PA40 and payroll process. • Ability to work with integration functionality between Payroll and Finance postings is required • Strong experience in covering SAP QA Management 10+ years’ experience required • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required • Intermediate level SQL skills is an asset • Experience in SAP success factors is an asset • Experience testing software • Experience writing test documentation such as Test Plans, scripts and test results reports • Ability to analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing • Associate's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required Must Have Skills: 1) SAP payroll (3 years) 2) Great Communication skills 3) Large corporation experience 4) QA Testing- 10 + years (out of university) Degrees or certifications: • Bachelor's degree or Post-Secondary education
