A bank in Scarborough is looking for a Senior Project Manager for 2 locations.. 7 Months to begin and renewable.
Project Manager -- Lean Process Automation and Robotics. Senior Project Manager: Lean, Process Automation and Robotics
Must have Agile experience ---actually practiced in labs and not just educated in agile methodology. Advantageous if they have worked in hybrid agile / waterfall.
Must have
a. 10 years of project management experience with 3 years of agile methodology
b. Strong have strong financial management experience.
c. Self-motivator
d. High energy, a go getter
e. Result driven
f. Experience mentoring
g. Working with Junior PMs and PCOs
h. Leadership skills
i. Able to work independently and not needing micro managing or constant high touch
Ideal
a. Agile Certification
b. Past working experience on a program
The manager requires a PM ( hiring for process automation (long term program) running an agile methodology. This isn’t your traditional PM role, they’ll be creating requirement docs and is also a governing role. They’ll be accountable for scope, but won’t get into way of daily stand ups or daily sprint plans but need to understand run rates/ budget costs, and be responsible for operational readiness, release management, governance (Day to day with teams) escalating in program level, blockers, scope changes, financials etc. It’s not a junior PM, they need to manage multiple work streams- need to identity what is program level or ground level issue. This PM will be managing releases, program needs, should have practiced in agile lab. Financials- they use Smart Stream system (takes care of forecasting, budgets are), they use Clarity, program reporting, they use jira for user stories, data is done on excel and data sources.

Must Have Skills:
1) Senior PM
2) Financials, ownership of financials (hands on with financials), budget management, scope
3) understand time tracking, how that rolls into financials, estimation accuracy
4) Great communication, attitude, ownership/accountability, team player
5) Good negotiating skills
7) managed 6- 8 million dollars that they’ve managed directly, not just contributed but actually MANAGED 6-8 million, managed complexity, hardware, invoices, accruals, complexity on what makes up budget
8) Nice to have: worked in transformational projects, process improvements, PEGA (workflow tool exposure would be great), they aren’t running robotics effort, they look at process end to end, where its manual they would like to automate etc. PMP Certification, Artificial intelligence/ SME
