A bank In downton toronto is looking for a Desktop Imaging and Deployment Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for desktop imaging, software configuration, patching, data transfers, deployments, and support of end user employees in remote and local locations. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Multitasking multiple computer builds at once - Imaging to include: Installing drivers, joining domains, Microsoft patching, SCCM, and encryption - Software/Configuration: install and configure software, Citrix, Outlook & VPN configuration, Active Sync, Printers & Network Drive Mappings - Ensuring machine is patched to current levels and encrypted - Troubleshoot Windows and software issues and reproducing problems/errors - Backing up and migrate end client data to new computer. - Support end user set up their hardware, docking station, connections to monitors, peripherals, and network access - Create and update documentation - Provide metrics to management: daily updates of completed machines - Must be able to meet aggressive targets • Degree or equivalent experience • Ongoing desire to stay current with software market and the latest technologies • Ability to work independently as well a part of a large team • Self-starter who can work from a remote office in the field when required • Desire to work in a fast paced dynamic environment. This resource will be dealing with users across country (500 users) they have old hardware, build and deploy these laptops until end of March- (post imaging on laptop, configure user profiles, manage user data, shipping laptop in and out). Good Communication skills are required. This candidate should have the ability to take the initiative to complete the work even while some users may request additional time or can’t provide their laptops.
