A bank in Scarborough is looking for 2 ServiceNow developers in Scarborough.
PURPOSE:
The candidate will be expected to help with a number of projects requiring expertise with: (SERVICE NOW)
- Lotus Notes / Domino Development Expertise (Release Level 8.5)
-ServiceNow /CreateNow (Fuji Release) Development
-Onboarding as many applications to by monitored by our Event Monitoring systems GEMS.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1)How to use the Service Now application and all the tools.
2)Have experience on Programming and Scripting in Service Now.
3)Has recently worked on Projects in developing in Service Now applications.
-Work effectively in a team environment by:
• Communicating well with other team members, development community and other bank teams
• Acquiring knowledge from the teams as from self-learning.
• Coaching other team/department members on the areas of expertise
-Develop technical test plans to ensure effective and successful technology implementations.
-Performs root cause analysis to determine the true cause of technical issues relating to Projects.
-Participate in user groups to gain information on other user’s project successes and/or failures. Required to keep up to date with technological breakthroughs and trends in field of specialization.
FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:
GEMS(Event Management & CreateNow Application Development)
• Knowledge of Service Now
• Java or JavaScript
• HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Perl
• Knowledge of ITIL concepts
• Web Services (ie, REST, SOAP, creating API’s)
• Basic Workflow Concepts

Processing Services Environment Support
• Knowledge of Mainframe, TSO/ISPF utilities (JCL, CLIST, SAS, JMF, UATCVTR)
• Knowledge of CA7/Autosys batch scheduling platforms
• Knowledge of Lotus Notes Domino and Application development ie, lotus script, visual basic, JavaScript
Autosys
• Knowledge of Windows/AIX/iSeries Operating Systems
• Knowledge of CA Workload Control Center AE, CA Embedded Entitlements Manager & CA Workload Control Centre
• Knowledge of CA iXP & iDash
• Workload Automation Concepts
•Experience on Incident Management, Event Management Process, Alert Management, WebService SOAP/ REST, Knowledge
Management, Change Management
•Working and designing scoped applications in CreateNow, ability to extend ServiceNow schema into custom applications.
•Scripting languages like Javascript, Powershell, HTML, CSS, Jelly Scripting, nice to have Angular JS.
•Experience on server and client scripts, ACLs, workflows, SLAs, UI policies, UI actions, Reports, data import, Dashboards,
Notifications, ServiceNow system upgrade, system configuration and maintenance.
•Well versed with ITIL, ServiceNow admin certification an asset.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A degree in computer science or a related designation is highly desirable.
ITIL certification or comparable knowledge is desirable
