Desired Skills
Experience configuring core ServiceNow modules Event Management, Service Mapping, etc.
Knowledge of web based and scripting languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, HTTP, XML, Perl, AngularJS, Webservices(REST, SOAP, creating API's)).
Strong analytical, estimating and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Ability to present and explain technical information to diverse audiences.
Ability to be flexible, adaptable and learn new concepts quickly.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities.
Demonstrated understanding of ITIL processes, operations and procedures.
Required Skills
Perform day to day administration of the ServiceNow in relation to Event Management.
Develop clear and concise technical process documentation.
Communicate ServiceNow process, operations and capability information to all levels of management effectively.
Maintain the integrity of the ServiceNow tool across production and non-production environments.
Working knowledge of relational 3rd party databases, alerting and event management platforms.
Work with business users to identify and refine required information and remediation workflows.
Ability to script basic tasks using SQL, JAVA/JavaScript and/or Powershell scripting languages.
Implementing ServiceNow Event Management preferred.
Advanced Scripting/ Reporting and other classes area highly recommended.
Experience with using and obtaining data from ServiceNow.
Experience with processes involving problem identification, recovery, escalation and resolution.
Able to function well in a fast-paced and adaptive environment.
ServiceNow System Administrator Certification preferred.
