Job Description	A bank in Toronto is looking for 2 technicians to Travel around Ontario for this work.. The main function of a Database Analyst / Programmer is to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems. Job Responsibilities: • Work with senior management, technical and client teams in order to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies • Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions • Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes • Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes • Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications
Job Requirements	Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required • 1-3 years applicable experience required • Experience with database technologies • Knowledge of at least one scripting language • Strong written and oral communication skills • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills • Demonstrated history of success • Desire to be working with data and helping businesses make better data driven decisions Must Have Skills: 1) Overall- 1-3 years’ experience (no more than that) 2) Familiar with IT equipment (printer/ desktops etc) 3) Familiar with mobile devices 4) Maturity- Completed post-secondary education 5) Great communication skills This is a wall to wall inventory/technician type role. Traveling is required across Ontario, the resources will use Ipads that will be provided and do some backend data analysis. They will be required to interact with people in an office, scan the devices, verify information that comes up on screen and potentially fix asset tag if person doesn’t have Scotiabank Asset tag- will update the asset database.
