Job Description A bank in Downtown Toronto requires a Technical support Specialist. • Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems, typically of a lower complexity • May install software or perform hardware testing remotely • Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors • Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities • Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support Qualifications: • Associate's degree in computer related field or equivalent training required • 1-3 years’ experience required • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills • Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time • Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software Please note, this is purely level 1 support, 24/7 so the candidates should be open to morning, evening, night and weekends. There are two positions open that REQUIRE BILINGUAL RESOURCES (French or Spanish and English- prefers French and English) and 1 that is uni-lingual. The manager expects the resources to not require much training. They need to have experience dealing with customers, users and have any technical knowledge ( windows 7, Mac, Iphones and understanding regular break fix, VPN). The manager has a close team and wants to continue the team work environment and wants someone who likes to come to work, and is ambitious
Job Requirements Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills: 1) Level 1 support, - 1-3 years of experience required 2) needs hit the ground running, Experience with speaking to difficult customers, users and have technical knowledge. 3) Windows 7, much larger presence with Mac, Iphones, regular break fix, VPN 4) Spanish/French and English (Preference to French)- Must have for 2 positions
