A bank in Downtown Toronto is seeking a Senior P/A, with varied skills, whom would like to learn some new technologies! The main function of this Developer is to design, develop, and implement applications using general languages and technologies to support business requirements.
• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
• Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
• Understands specification requirements, developing Kafka is a new technology (they will be sending data to kafka bus which distributes to end clients). Communication skills are important as this resource will be interacting with end users on a regular basis. This candidate will be developing, testing, and documenting while working in an agile environment. Banking experience will be preferred within the capital markets.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
• 5-7 years of experience is required
• Development experience in needed language or technology Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale projects from end-to-end
• Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC
