A Bank in Scarborough is looking for a Senior Technical Analyst Contractor. The main function of a Technical Analyst is to plan, design, develop and implement efficient business and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes.
• Gather requirements, design, configure, code, test and resolve issues in a development and production support environment.
• Development of modules, support for conversion of data, job scheduling, unit/integration testing, business process documentation, development of training materials, and delivery of end user training.
• Translate business requirements into configurations and interface specifications.
• Coordinate testing and validation with business users.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications for the development of custom reports, enhancements, interfaces, conversions, and forms.
This is a technical analyst level 3 support role. The candidate will be working on an email migration within cloud. This resource should have over 3 + years of experience working on a migration project (doesn’t need to be office 365 but that would ideal). They should be able to hit the ground running and be prepared to migrate over 100-200 users daily. Scripting is important (VBA, Shell scripting) as they need to be able to understand how to resolve issues and troubleshoot.

1. Experience working with and troubleshooting MS Exchange 2010/13, Office 365 (Exchange Online) and Exchange Hybrid Must have (5+ years)
2. PowerShell scripting for Active Directory, Office 365 Azure AD, Exchange Online, and Exchange 2010/13 Must have (5+ years)
3. Experience with Exchange to Exchange Migration Must have (5+ years)
4. Microsoft Active Directory - Group Policy administration, object management, etc. Including Outlook GPOs Important (3+ years)
5. Experience with ADFS 2.0 and 2012R2, WAP, etc. Important (3+ years)
6. Understanding of Microsoft Core Infrastructure based on Windows 2008/2012 Important (3+ years)
7. Active Directory synchronization tools – Azure AD Connect, Azure AD Sync, Forefront Identity Manager Important (3+ years)
8. Ability to develop professional technical documentation Good to have (2+ years)
9. Working knowledge of Lotus Domino/Notes and migration to Exchange Good to have (2+ years)
• PMP Certification preferred.
Degrees or certifications:
• Bachelor's degree or Post-Secondary education
Skills:
• Hands-on experience with development.
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of design techniques and data integration principles.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5 + years of experience.
